Alley -the making-
GDL(c)2008
Done with copic markers.

The making of Alley.
It's more like a walkthrough rather than a tutorial...don't expect much...-_-;;

Please download to full-view.

Thank you for the tutorial! You must be brave to outline your sketches! I really hate outlining mine. :S

SURRENDER!

Dude, are you hungry?
Hm... forgive me for saying that it doesn't turn out to be the tutorial I'm thinking about... At best, this tutorial helps those who already know the basic of technical drawing, but not those who are really new to the world of art.

If I can give some inputs for future tutorials, below are some of the queries I'm sure some of us (including me) wanna know:

~ How to sketch the character (whether you use gesture sketching, full proportion template, or whatever the others are called).

~ How to blend the Copic colors so it won't get messy.

~ How you draw the alley background (whether you just apply the Copic like that or do some very thin sketches).

~ Especially about the Copic, is it thick enough to cover sketches? Or do you have to erase the lines first?

~ Comments on more aspects, like the lighting, textures (if any), etc.

Again, please forgive me if this review make you twitch in annoyance, but I believe there's (sorry) no point in making a tutorial that only tells which colors or tools used and so on. And please try not to answer with "mendokusai" or start your answers with "Obviously...", because 'obviously' as well, we ask because we don't know... Thanks...
thank you for the tutorial~!
