Done with copic markers.

I reoutlined on another paper and colored it out of randomness. I chose Allen since he's the easiest to do among the four.
I had gone through rather troublesome and tiring moments in order to re-outline since I don't have light table, and my only source of light is on the ceiling (guess yourself how i did it). So I'm definitely not gonna do Lenalee since I'm not a masochist T_T
I might do Kanda, but since I prefer coloring his hair black, probably the details on the hair can't be seen anymore.

Anyway, I'm submitting this freshly colored and photographed picture to ask for opinions whether I should add background or not. And if I should, what kind of background should it be. Waiting for the response~ ^.^

After seeing lots of comments on the background part, I'm still rather undecided ^^;
So I think I'll experiment with photoshop first to see the effect
But at the moment I haven't got the free time so I'll just upload this newly scanned one.
The colors are a bit different from the real thing...but really, scanner always screws your pics...-_-

Don't do any background. It's so beautiful as it is! Colored version looks much better than lineart. I think that you should try coloring your other works too.

He looks so adorable! And you did a wonderful job with the cloths! I mean, he certainly gives off the 'British Boy' vibe more than ever now xD
The detailing is wonderful~

I don't think you should put a background :/
It'll take away the attention from him. The faded white you have now for it is perfect c:

UUuu...I adore his shirt and hat! :heart: Really awesome. And those eyes XD
I'm not a very big fan of Allen, but I can say you made him look very good.
The details! :drool:

Hmmmm....as for the background, I wouldn't recommend doing something solid like coloring the whole bg area. Maybe something sketchy would work (in colors or not), something in this style [link]

Or you can choose an abstract bg, lines and curves and such, but again, don't make it solid, because the background might 'shadow' the character, which is the main focus of the picture.

Well, that's just my opinion, hope I helped ^^;

It's just perfect - do not add any background.
And Allen... you made him look soo..yummy :giggle: The outfit is adorable and everything is so well-drawn.

I agree with Ashlee-Suki-Corner, now he looks like a true British Boy.
